This is a book about me. It’s a collection of poems and random writings that I have done over the last 22 years. You will find mostly dark inside. About 90% of the work in here was written while high on something that was not life. For a long time I buried all my feeling all of my emotions and this was my only non-physical outlet. I am not publishing these works for sympathy or compassion. I am publishing them for me. I want to slam doors on a few things and I think this is the best way to do it. No one but my friends and family will read it and I am ok with that. If you are someone unknown to me and you have decided to read my book. Thank you…I hope that maybe it if you have someone like me in your life that it will open some doors and shed some light on their situation.

Yes, this book of poems is deep. Where shall I start? This book was written by the individual author who has BiPolar disorder. So I shall begin here. Disorder, that is to be not in order, to be sound, complete, and whole, one would be the opposite of disorder. I believe we don't suffer but are unique. Being BiPolar is madness, but I see it as being touched with "Divine Madness". In villages around the world, one who is, so called, suffers from such a thing called disorder, is pulled out from the community by a Shaman. For in the Shamanic culture, it is seen as a divine gift. We are in this world and because of being BiPolar, we can easily be seen or taken as being not fit for society. Only then do we become miserable because we want to fit in with society, to be in this world, yet we feel like we don't belong, that time has forgotten us, we are left here where most others don't seem to understand us, let alone even care. We are in this world yet we are not. This is why we are naturally intuned with the arts and high spirituality. Even seeing what most others see not. The author expresses herself with poems that involve her troubled life because of BiPolar (Dis)Order. If she can begin to see it as a gift, rather then it as a disorder, I could see her life turning around and becoming a more positive situation, or being, for being can be positive if one chooses to look at BiPolar as being in "Order" rather than disorder. Like the Yin and Yang, we can make ourselves whole and complete, by looking at BiPolar in a more positive light. Mindfulness, meditation, candle lit baths, and sweet fragrances to induce a more positive environment, we are sensitive and so such things will lift our spirits, so that we can enjoy our stay as pilgrims in this world.The poems are dark and speak true of one who decides to suffer from BiPolar, as such a view I use to have of it myself, but writing these poems that she did, I assume and perhaps know, that the author is well aware of her own potentials, learning and growing. To write such poems to just get it out of her system, as evident in her introduction, which is absolutely correct for her in doing so, leads to new beginnings, a new life with a better understanding of having BiPolar reality. The poems are true and show us her mind, formerly, that she is growing and having a more understanding of this nature of being. I have a sense that the author will be producing more works to come.
It was well worth purchasing this copy of her poems. I look forward to seeing some more poetry from this author.
